Product Overview
The BQ640H Pneumatic Eccentric Semi-Ball Valve is a new-generation valve developed by Gaoshan Valve based on imported advanced semi-ball valve technology. It combines the sealing advantages of a ball valve with the flow-control characteristics of a butterfly valve, making it ideal for pipelines carrying media with impurities, slurry, and particulate matter. The pneumatic actuator provides fast 90° opening/closing with reliable automation control, widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, power generation, water supply, and drainage systems.

Self-Compensating Seal
Under eccentric operation, the disc and seat generate pretight force to seal. Micro wear on sealing surfaces is automatically compensated during operation, ensuring excellent sealing performance.
Energy Efficient
Low friction coefficient and self-adjusting seal reduce operating torque and energy consumption. The hard alloy sealing surface resists abrasion from particulate media.

Pneumatic Actuator
The BQ640H is equipped with a rack-and-pinion or scotch-yoke pneumatic actuator providing fast quarter-turn operation. Standard features include:
- Double-acting or spring-return configuration
- Air supply pressure: 0.4 – 0.7 MPa
- Operating temperature: -20°C to +80°C (standard), high/low temp options available
- Limit switches and solenoid valve ready
- Positioner compatible for modulating control (4-20 mA)
Installation Guidelines
- Install with flange alignment to avoid stress on valve body
- Ensure pipeline is clean before installation to prevent damage to sealing surfaces
- Recommended installation: horizontal pipeline with actuator upright; vertical installation consult factory
- Provide adequate clearance for actuator removal and maintenance
- Air supply lines must be filtered, regulated, and lubricated (FRL unit)
- Perform pneumatic sealing test at 0.6 MPa before commissioning

Packaging & Shipping
Each valve is individually packed with protective end caps, sealed in a poly bag, and secured in a plywood case or export-standard wooden crate. Large-size valves (DN≥600) are shipped on steel pallets. All shipments include a packing list, material certificate, and test report. We support FOB, CIF, DAP, and other Incoterms.
